BIOGRAPHY
James Saito graduated from UCLA with a degree in theater and had a prosperous career in theater, film and television since the late 1970s. He gained popularity in the 1990s thanks to his performance as the original Destroyer in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), a film directed by Steve Barron. On television he had the opportunity to participate as a guest in numerous shows and had a recurring role as Dr. Frank Chen in the lawyer series Eli Stone (2008-2009), and as Judge Lee in the 2011 season of the family series One Life to Live . In 2019 he played the role of Harry, the father of Marcus (Randall Park), in the Netflix romantic comedy Maybe Forever . In 2020 he was part of the main cast of Dash & Lily , a new Netflix series that portrays the unlikely love between two young people from New York City.
