Injuries are commonplace in professional wrestling and no matter how much rest and recuperation talent put themselves through, they will always deal with small knocks. However, whenever something more serious takes place, it is typical that the talent will take time off to heal up.

However, that isn't always the case. Wrestlers often like to push through their problems in order not to lose their spot, or to finish the storyline that they are telling. Of course, this doesn't always have positive results as it can force a wrestler into further problems, but it is something that has happened multiple times.

10 Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega is currently enjoying time off from wrestling right now, and that is something he has certainly earned. The former AEW World Champion has been wrestling with several injuries for months to finish the storyline with Hangman Page.

He had problems with multiple areas of his back such as his shoulders and knee, which makes the fact he has been putting on such great matches even more impressive. However, the fact his body was so banged up is a cause for concern, as no talent should work through that level of pain.

9 Tegan Nox

Tegan Nox has suffered a lot of serious injuries throughout her career, which caused problems during her time with WWE. She had two major knee operations that ruled her out of action for long periods, but she also wrestled with a serious knee problem for a long time as well.

During her epic storyline against Dakota Kai that saw her compete in a street fight, a steel cage, and War Games, Nox had no ACL. Despite the serious lack of movement she was dealing with, Nox powered through until she couldn't anymore, and then took time off to fix the situation.

8 CM Punk

CM Punk is one of the most famous examples of a wrestler who worked for a long time with injuries, as this was one of the main reasons he ended up leaving WWE. Punk had a serious staff infection which he worked through, despite it being visible on his body.

He also didn't get time off following elbow surgery and he also had serious hip problems at the same time. He worked a lot of months banged up and hurt, and eventually that schedule wore him down and led to him needing to walk away from the business.

7 Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle is another top star who worked through the pain barrier during his career which led to him having some problems in real life. Angle broke his neck several times in his life, as he famously won a Gold Medal while his neck was broken.

However, he also competed in WWE with serious neck issues as well which caused him a lot of pain. This is how Angle ended up being addicted to pills as he was trying to stop the pain when he was outside of the ring.

6 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan also worked through injury problems during his career and opted not to tell WWE about his problems, which was a big reason the company was worried about letting him return. Bryan competed and dealt with concussion problems and wasn't fully honest about the situation.

He wrestled through the issues until he wasn't able to anymore. It highlights how serious the situation can be for wrestlers choosing to compete while they have injuries as the ramifications can be huge.

5 Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella had to deal with some serious neck problems throughout her career, which eventually led to her breaking it. This was down to her finisher, the Rack Attack, which placed too much pressure on that section of her body.

However, before it gave out on her, Nikki wrestled a full-time schedule with pain and problems in this area. She was dedicated to her craft and it proved to be costly, but it also showcases just how tough she is as an athlete.

4 Sheamus

Sheamus is a hard-hitting talent and his in-ring style is typically physical to match that. That was showcased this year when he was dealt some harsh blows to the face which resulted in him breaking his nose multiple times without being able to truly heal it.

The Celtic Warrior worked through the problem, which is why he wore the mask in the ring. However, even with that covering him, Sheamus would still have been in serious pain, which goes to show the type of performer he is.

3 Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan might not have been as athletic as some of the wrestlers that are shown today, but his finisher put a lot of pain on his lower back. This was a chronic issue that only got worse as his career went on, yet he continued to work through the problems.

While he arguably carried on a little longer than he needed to do, these issues were taking place while he was still in his prime. However, considering his spot at the top of the card, the Hulkster continued for as long as he could.

2 Andre The Giant

The stories of Andre The Giant are legendary and unfortunately, he did work many years within a lot of pain. This was purely down to his size as the bumps and the travel took a major toll on his body. At this point healthcare wasn't at the level it was, which was a big factor in things.

However, Andre had a lot of back pains throughout his career. Despite that, he fought through for as long as he could in a bid to try and provide as much entertainment to the WWE Universe, which is why he is so widely respected.

1 The Undertaker

The Undertaker worked for so many years at the highest level of the industry that it is no surprise that the bumps eventually caught up with him. This was clear towards the end of his career when he was working in constant pain, particularly with his hip.

It could be seen within his movement and the fact that he struggled several times to even leave the arena without collapsing. The Deadman truly gave his all for the art, with his body eventually telling him that enough was enough.
